So if your first sentence in your play was I haven't talked to my cousin Danielle in 15 years and then the last 10 minutes of your play are about talking to Danielle but she never comes up again, chances are people are going to forget who Danielle is, know what I mean? So you have to keep weaving the beginning and the middle together to get to the end so that it makes sense and it can only be done through mostly dialogue. Stage plays Everything has to be live so there's no luxury of saying we see Peter watching a TV program or whatever, I don't know what Peter does haha but everything has to be right out there clear and concise in the open and typically since it's live theater important things have to be mentioned at least two to three times in order for the audience to remember.
